Missing 12-year-old girl from Minneapolis found, returned to her family

The missing 12-year-old girl has been found and is now back home with her family, according to an update Minneapolis Police Department issued just before 4 a.m. Tuesday. 

The girl, identified as Caress May, was located by St. Paul Police. She hadn't been seen since Sunday afternoon.

Police are looking for a 12-year-old girl who was reported missing on Sunday.

Caressa May was last seen on Sunday afternoon, with her recent movements having been tracked by phone to Brooklyn Center and St. Paul.

She is known to use Metro Transit buses and trains.

She is described as having curly, shoulder length, brown hair and has hazel eyes. She weighs around 112 pounds, and is 5-feet tall. 

Anyone who sees Caressa, or knows her location, is asked to immediately call 911.
