Police in Lino Lakes are on the lookout for a woman who was caught on surveillance cameras trying to break into multiple homes on Christmas morning.

The police department shared an image of the would-be thief, who carried out several attempted burglaries between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. on Wednesday.

Surveillance video showed her entering or attempting to enter vehicles, garages and occupied homes to steal belongings.

Police believe she's a white woman aged between 25 and 35. She was wearing a dark parka-style jacket and Ugg boots, the latter of which she stole during one of the burglaries.

She was active in the Highland Drive, Marilyn Drive and Lois Lane neighborhoods.

"If you live in one of these areas and have surveillance cameras in or around your home please review your video to see if you caught the burglar in action," the police department said.

Anyone who recognizes her should contact the Lino Lakes Police Department at 763-427-1212.
