A search is ongoing for a missing boater who was seen falling into Lake Pepin in southeast Minnesota Thursday.
The incident was reported at 4:49 p.m., according to the Wabasha County Sheriff's Office, after a passenger on the boat saw the individual enter the water and fail to resurface.
Search efforts resumed on Friday morning, with the missing person not wearing a life jacket.
Several agencies are involved in the search, including the DNR, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and several local sheriff's and fire departments.
As of Friday afternoon, there had been no update on the search.
