Girls missing in Pillager are found safe

Police have confirmed that the two girls have been found safe.

Police in Cass County, Minnesota are looking for a pair of sisters reported missing Saturday morning.

The girls, Kristine Bourassa, age 12 and Tara Miller, age 8, left on foot from a home in Sylvan Township, rural Pillager, either late Friday or early Saturday.

Kristine is described as 4 feet 9 inches, 80lbs with brown hair and blue eyes, and Tara is 4 feet tall, weighing 60lbs, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Assisting with the search is the Pillager Area Fire Department and several local residents.
