Several departments battle fire at country club in Wayzata
Firefighters from several cities responded to a blaze at a country club in Wayzata on Tuesday morning.
The fire broke out at the Woodhill Country Club on Wayzata Boulevard at around 7:50 a.m.
After three hours fighting the fire, it was declared to be under control at 10:45 a.m., with no injuries reported.
FOX 9 had a helicopter at the scene, showing smoke and damage from one of the building's upper floors.
The private club was founded in 1915 and offers golf, tennis, swimming, cross-country skiing and ice skating, as well as dining and event space.
