Seven Minnesota families continue to be on Forbes Magazine's America's richest families list.

There are no new Minnesota families in this year's ranking, and the same ones who appeared in 2014 show up once again.

Here's a look at the notable families who rank among the country's richest:

The Cargill-MacMillan clan – owners of the agribusiness Cargill Inc. – remains the wealthiest family in Minnesota and the fourth-richest in the nation. The family, which includes 14 billionaires (more than any other family in the world), has a net worth of $45 billion. In 2011, Forbes highlighted the Cargill-MacMillan family in a story titled, "The Secretive Cargill Billionaires and Their Family Tree."

Coming in at No. 75 with a net worth of $3.8 billion is the Pohlad family, who own and manage a group of more than 30 Minneapolis-based businesses, including real estate, banking and the Minnesota Twins. Last year, the Pohlads came in at No. 70 on the list.

At No. 122, way down from No. 21 in 2014, is the Carlson family, who made their fortune in hotels restaurants and travel. Their net worth is $2.2 billion. In 2014, the family's net worth was $10.3 billion.

The Mark Davis family – owners of Le Sueur-based Davisco foods – ranked No. 149 on the list with $1.7 billion. In 2014, they were No. 130 on the list.

Target founders the Dayton family came in at No. 157 on this year's list with a net worth of $1.6 billion. Last year, they were ranked No. 147 on the list.

The Weyerhaeuser family, which has 250 family members who live in Washington and Minnesota, started the Washington-based timber business, Weyerhaeuser Co. They come in at No. 149 on the list with an estimated net worth of $1.7 billion, down from No. 130 in 2014.

The Rosen family, which owns Fairmont-based meat processor Rosen's Diversified Inc., has a net worth of $1.25 billion, taking the No. 191 spot on Forbes' list. In 2014, the family ranked No. 156.

Earlier this year, Forbes released its billionaires list, which included five Minnesotans, two of whom are members of America's richest families list: Whitney MacMillan of the Cargill-MacMillan clan and members of the Carlson family (tied) Barbara Carlson Gage and Marilyn Carlson Nelson.
