The National Weather Service says severe weather is still a possibility in southern Minnesota Friday night, as strong system is moving over the region tonight.

A tornado warning for eastern Fillmore County has been allowed to expire. But the region isn't out of the woods yet.

Multiple tornadoes were reported in Iowa earlier Friday evening, one nearly a mile wide was reported near Sioux City according to a report in the Sioux City Journal.

Heavy rain is also expected with this system, and a Flash Flood Warning has been issued for much of southeastern Minnesota as a result.
