Sheriff: 2 family horses stolen from farm near St. Cloud
Stearns County officials are investigating a suspected horse theft in the St. Cloud area.
According to the Stearns County Sheriff's Office, two horses were reported stolen from a farm in Lynden Township, a small community adjacent to the west side of Clearwater, Minnesota.
The two horses, described by the owners as paint geldings and seen in the photo above (far right and back left), were last seen within their fencing on July 10. Halters for the horses are also missing; the geldings were not wearing halters when they were last seen by the owners, the release says.
The horses are ages 9 and 6, with the names Ace and Taykota, respectively. Both are described as friendly.
Anyone with information related to the horses' disappearance is asked to contact the Stearns County Sheriff's office (320-251-4240).
More photos of the horses are available on the family's Craigslist ad.
