The death of a man in southeast Minnesota has been ruled a homicide.

Gregory Scott Davis, 49, was killed at his home in rural Chatfield, according to the Southern Minnesota Regional Medical Examiner's Office.

Davis died of multiple gunshot wounds and was found in his home at 32573 Ninebark Road on Wednesday, Jan. 30, Fillmore County Sheriff John DeGeorge announced Monday.

No arrests have been made in the case and it's unclear if there are any suspects, but investigators say there's no reason to believe there is any danger to the public.

Additional details could come at a later date from the Fillmore County Sheriff's Office or the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
