Pine County sheriff's officials are looking Monday for a suspect who shot a man as he drove away from an altercation.

The driver called deputies Saturday afternoon and told them he had been shot in the shoulder and was driving toward Hinckley. First responders met the victim, who was airlifted to a Duluth hospital.

Authorities say the victim and suspect knew each other. Witnesses say the two had a physical fight and the suspect walked back to his residence and to get his gun.

The victim was shot as he drove away, suffering non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect has been identified as Allen Hasser, a 60-year-old from Hinckley, and he remains at large.

Police had searched the area around his house on the ground and via helicopter. Anyone with information should call Pine County Sheriff's Office at 320-629-8380 or by calling 911.
