Sheriff: Man who walked away from group home found dead

The man walked away from the home on April 20.

A man who walked away from a group home was found dead in rural Montgomery on Wednesday. 

According to a release from the Le Sueur County Sheriff's Office, the man was found in an unresponsive condition around 8 a.m. and lifesaving efforts were unsuccessful. 

Authorities identified the man as a person who walked away from a group home on Saturday, April 20, but his identity won't be released until proper family notifications are made. 

No foul play is suspected in the man's death and there is no threat to the public.
