Police seek information on man found dead after going missing last summer

Tony Perry was reported missing July 9 and his remains were found in December.

The remains of a man who went missing last summer have been identified, and now the Wright County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to figure out what happened to him.

Tony Conley Perry, 52, was reported missing on July 9, last seen in the area of Howard Lake, and the sheriff's office had been looking for him since.

Human remains were found in rural Middleville Township in December, and have since been positively identified as being Perry.

"Now that Mr. Perry's death has been confirmed we are again seeking information about his disappearance or his movements during the month of May 2020," a news release says

Anyone with information on Perry is asked to contact Detective Kenyon with the Wright County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Division at 763-682-7879.
