Fashion designer Prabal Gurung's new limited-edition line exclusively at Target, which debuted on Sunday, Feb. 10, nearly sold out after just one day, Business Insider reports.

It's a welcome boost for the Minneapolis-based big-box after the holiday collaboration with Neiman Marcus fell short of expectations.

In late 2011, Target partnered with Missoni, which sold out in less than a day and crashed the company's website.

As of 2:30 p.m. Monday, more than 2,300 items from Gurung's collection were up for grabs on eBay.

Business Insider credits Target for keeping the line reasonably-priced. Blouses, dresses and shoes were going for $25-$35, while many items in the Neiman Marcus collection were $75 or more.

The 80-piece Gurung collection includes clothing, handbags, shoes and jewelry, that ranges in price from $12.99 to $199.99.

The "First Date" printed sweatshirt, the "Floral Crush" dress and jewelry were all big hits Sunday, according to shopping website Racked.

“I am so thrilled to be working with Target on a collection that brings my designs to a wider audience,” Gurung said in a news release last October. “This collection was inspired by love and if Target’s guests can feel even a little bit of the love that I felt while I was designing this collection, then I will consider it a job well done.”
