Bail was set at $2 million for a Shorewood woman who's charged with murdering her boyfriend and stuffing his body in a freezer in her garage.

The victim was not identified. KARE-11 reports his family members reported him missing two weeks before his body was discovered last Wednesday at the home of Jetaun Wheeler.

As WCCO reports, a preliminary autopsy found bruises and lacerations on the victim's body, which was duct-taped and put in plastic, according to Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman.

Authorities now are searching for Wheeler's three children. Freeman tells the Pioneer Press the kids are 10, 8, and 7 years old. He says investigators believe Wheeler put them in hiding.

The Pioneer Press says police working on the missing person's case obtained a warrant to search Wheeler's home and did so on Aug. 13th. They reportedly found rolled-up carpeting stained with what appeared to be blood. They went on to search the garage, where they found a newly-purchased freezer with the body of the 58-year-old victim inside.

WCCO says Wheeler could be sentenced to 40 years in prison if convicted of the second-degree murder charge.
