A dusting of snow in the Twin Cities metro Monday morning was enough to clog traffic and cause plenty of delays. The Star Tribune says the Minnesota State Patrol reported at least 50 incidents. No serious injuries or deaths were reported.

Minnesota State Patrol spokesman Lt. Eric Roeske told the Pioneer Press the Department of Transportation was sending trucks out for sanding.

MPR reports about 40 percent of Metro Transit buses were also running late this morning because of the light coating of snow. The average delay was about 10-12 minutes.

Interstate 94 westbound, specifically from Highway 280 into Minneapolis, was one of the worst stretches, KARE 11 reports.

On Saturday, parts of the Twin Cities metro saw record highs followed by severe weather. The National Weather Service confirmed two late-season EFO tornadoes hit parts of Burnsville and Eagan on Saturday.
