Someone is shooting darts into animals in St. Cloud

Three animals were spotted with darts sticking out of them in a 24-hour period this weekend.

At least three animals in the St. Cloud area have darts sticking out of their bodies, and a local wildlife rehab organization is seeking the public's help to find them.

In a Facebook post on SundayCentral Minnesota Wildlife Rehabilitation said it was aware of three animals over the past 24 hours that were shot and
"left to wander" with their injuries.

It is asking people who live in the area of Kilian Boulevard Southeast between Lincoln Depot and Munsinger Gardens to be on the lookout for these animals, and take a picture or capture them if possible.

"I need to get information so I can better report this, as it is a crime not only to shoot a weapon in St. Cloud but this is cruelty to animals and this person needs to be caught," the post said.

The organization is asking anyone with photos or who has seen an animal who was shot with a dart to contact them. The rehab group's email is centralmnwildliferehab@gmail.com and its phone number is 320-241-5926.
