St. Cloud man, 60, stabs another man multiple times after argument over property

A 60-year-old man from St. Cloud is being held in jail after he allegedly stabbed another man after an argument over property.

The incident happened at an apartment complex in the 700 block of 9th Avenue South, with police arriving at the scene shortly before 2 p.m. Sunday to find a 54-year-old with multiple stab wounds.

The victim was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect was identified and found at the scene. He was taken into custody.

"The investigation revealed that Peterson and the victim are acquaintances that got into an argument over some property," St. Cloud Police said.

"The argument escalated into a physical altercation at which point Peterson assaulted the victim with the knife."
