St. Cloud man hit by minivan, suffers life-threatening injuries

He was struck early Thursday morning on Hwy. 23.

A St. Cloud man is fighting for his life after getting hit by a vehicle early Thursday morning. 

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the 34-year-old St. Cloud man was hit by a 2004 Chevy Venture at 3:38 a.m. on Hwy. 23 near County Road 4 in Gilmanton Township, which is located near Foley, or about 18 miles northeast of St. Cloud. 

The crash report says the man was in the lane of traffic when he was struck. He was transported by ambulance to St. Cloud Hospital with life-threatening injuries. 

The driver of the minivan, a 35-year-old woman from Princeton, was not injured.
