A St. Cloud man suffered what police described as a "significant" arm and leg injury after being pinned against a wall by a van.
The 66-year-old was in a shop on the 500 block of St. Germain Street East around 2:40 a.m. Sunday, according to the St. Cloud Police Department. A 41-year-old man from Grey Eagle was at the scene, trying to move a van inside the shop.
But his foot slipped off the brake pedal, police said, and hit the gas.
This caused the van to "lunge forward," pinning the 66-year=old against the wall.
The Grey Eagle man immediately called for help, and officers arrived to find the victim still stuck between the vehicle and wall. An ambulance took him to the hospital with significant, though non-life threatening, injuries, police said.
The department described the incident as accidental.
