St. Paul man killed in South Dakota motorcycle crash

He was not wearing a helmet.

A motorcycle crash claimed the life of a Minnesota man who was riding in South Dakota last week. 

The South Dakota Highway Patrol revealed that 37-year-old Paul Carver of St. Paul was injured after losing control and crashing his motorcycle on Interstate 90 about six miles west of Sioux Falls on Saturday, July 28. 

Carver was transported to a hospital in Sioux Falls for treatment and ultimately died from his injuries. Authorities say Carver passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 1. 

Carver was riding a 2004 Kawasaki 999 and was not wearing a helmet, according to South Dakota State News.
