Police in St. Paul are investigating the second fatal shooting in a little over 14 hours in St. Paul.

A man was shot on the 900 block of University Avenue West in the Frogtown neighborhood at around 2 a.m., and he was pronounced dead after paramedics and police arrived on the scene.

No suspects have been identified as of yet by the police, with only one witness willing to speak with officers when they got to the scene.

"This senseless violence affects the entire city, and we need your help," St. Paul PD said on Twitter.

Anyone with information should call the St. Paul PD homicide unit on 651-266-5650.

It's the 9th homicide in St. Paul so far this year, and came not long after the 8th – another shooting – happened in the North End neighborhood just after noon.
