A 64-year-old woman who was struck by a car last month died Friday at Regions Hospital in St Paul, according to St. Paul Police Department.

Lia Lor, of St. Paul, was struck by a car as she cross the street at Edgerton St. and Jenks Ave. at approximately 5:45 p.m. May 20.

She was transported to Regions Hospital in critical condition following the crash, succumbing to her injuries Friday, June 21, according to authorities.

The 23-year-old driver of the vehicle involved in the collision cooperated with police and drugs nor alcohol were factors in the incident.

But the driver was cited for failure to have a driver's license or proof of insurance, and the Pioneer Press reports that he could face additional charges now that Lor has died.
