Stabbing in downtown Minneapolis leaves 1 dead, 1 critically wounded
One person is dead and another wounded following a stabbing at a Minneapolis bus stop Monday afternoon.
Minneapolis police spokesperson John Elder confirmed the incident, saying it was reported around 4:40 p.m. at the Metro Transit bust stop on Nicollet Ave. between 5th and 6th streets.
The victim who died hasn't been identified, while the other victim was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center and was in critical condition.
The stabbing followed two shootings that left eight people injured in Minneapolis earlier in the day.
