State Patrol: 20-year-old Minnesotan killed in crash east of Fargo
A crash at an intersection in northwest Minnesota proved fatal for a young man Monday evening.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 20-year-old man from Glyndon, Minnesota, was driving a Ford Crown Victoria westbound on 43rd Ave. N. when he failed to yield at a stop sign at Hwy. 9 and was struck by a Ford F-350 that was northbound on the highway.
Both vehicles wound up in the ditch, though the driver of the truck, a 27-year-old North Dakota man, wasn't injured.
The 20-year-old motorist died in the crash. His full identity has not been released.
The crash happened in Spring Prairie Township in Clay County.
