State Patrol asks public to help located vehicle involved in deadly hit-and-run
The search for a vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash in Maplewood earlier this month continues and the Minnesota State Patrol is asking the public to keep an eye out for the suspect vehicle.
"Troopers are looking for a dark-colored 2006-2015 Honda Pilot that fled southbound from Highway 120 between 10th and 15th streets around 9:15 p.m. after hitting and killing a 67-year-old Oakdale woman," the State Patrol said of the April 2 incident.
"The SUV that fled likely does not have any damage as it appears it may have run over the victim, not hit her."
The victim, 67-year-old Susan R. Sina, of Oakdale, was crossing Hwy. 120 when she was struck by two vehicles, according to the State Patrol crash report. The driver of the second vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
Anyone with information is urged to call State Patrol Sgt. Eric Zastrow at 651-539-1149.
Sina leaves behind four children and six grandchildren, according to her obituary.
