Two people are dead following a four-vehicle crash near St. Cloud Tuesday afternoon.

A State Patrol report says the crash happened at approximately 4:54 p.m. on eastbound Hwy. 10 near SE 32nd St. – just east of St. Cloud in Haven Township – when the driver of a Chevy Impala going west on the highway crossed the grass median and collided with an eastbound Chevy Suburban.

That contact made the vehicles rotate, per the crash report, and then hit a man riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle who was also in the eastbound lanes. A Dodge Ram then hit the back of the Suburban before coming to a rest on the train tracks south of Hwy. 10.

The driver of the Impala, 21-year-old Abby G. Redmond, of Sartell, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Harley rider, identified as 45-year-old David W. Evans, of Sauk Rapids, also died at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet, the State Patrol said.

A 41-year-old Becker woman driving the Suburban was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with non-critical injuries while a 53-year-old St. Cloud man in the Dodge Ram was not injured.
