State Patrol investigating fatal crash after 3 women ejected from SUV in St. Paul

At least one person died when in a violent crash in St. Paul Friday evening in which the Minnesota State Patrol says three women were ejected when an SUV vaulted off a ramp. 

A crash report from the State Patrol says the crash happened just before 6:45 p.m. and involved three 28-year-old women in a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer, with two of the women from Minneapolis and the other's city of origin listed as "unknown." 

According to the report: 

The driver was traveling at a high rate of speed on southbound Hwy. 280 when she lost control while taking the exit to Kasota Ave. The SUV rolled and then vaulted over the ramp of Kasota Ave. to southbound Hwy. 280 before coming to a rest in a ravine approximately 80 feet below the ramp. 

All three women were ejected. One passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. She has been identified as Ke'shia Laray White, of Minneapolis. 

The two other women suffered life-threatening injuries. The driver was transported to Regions Hospital in St. Paul and the passenger was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center. 

None of the victims were wearing a seat belt, the State Patrol said. 

The driver is also under investigation, per the crash report.
