State Patrol: Man ran onto I-94, was fatally hit by car
A man involved in a separate crash was killed after running onto Interstate 94 in St. Paul and being hit by a car Thursday night.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol's report, at about 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, 38-year-old Nicholas Hunt of Lake Crystal was involved in a two-vehicle crash on southbound Interstate 35E at eastbound I-94.
He then "exited his vehicle and ran down the embankment and into the left lane" of westbound I-94, where he was hit by an Oldsmobile driven by a 20-year-old from Hudson, Wisconsin.
The driver of the Oldsmobile and his passenger, an 18-year-old woman also from Hudson, Wisconsin, were not injured.
