The Minnesota State Patrol on Wednesday released an image of an SUV that was spotted in the area of a deadly hit-and-run crash in southern Minnesota on Monday, and they're asking the public to help them find the driver.

"State Patrol investigators would like to speak with the driver of the vehicle. If anyone has information, please contact the State Patrol at 507-344-2750," the State Patrol said in a post to social media.

The photo of the SUV was captured on a police dash cam around the time of the deadly crash, which happened on Hwy. 60 west of Lake Crystal at approximately 4:40 p.m.

Killed in the crash was 20-year-old Jalynn Rose Williams, of Mankato, who was a passenger in a 2000 Chevy Blazer that went into the ditch and rolled after a Ford SUV cut it off – possibly making contact with it – and left the scene.

As of Wednesday afternoon, the Ford SUV and its driver had not been located.

A 26-year-old Mankato man driving the Blazer suffered non-fatal injuries and was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato.
