Stearns County Sheriff's Office locates 4 children after days of searching
The Stearns County Sheriff's Office has located the four children it had been searching for since Labor Day weekend.
The sheriff's office, on Sept. 4, had asked for the public's help locating the four kids and their parents. Authorities had been worried about the children's welfare due to an existing no-contact order that prevented their father from being around their mother.
On Thursday, the sheriff's office said it had located the four children in St. Cloud. The sheriff's office also spoke with both parents. It is not said whether the parents and children were together at the time.
"Prior investigation showed that in the previous days they had been in South Dakota and North Dakota," the sheriff's office added, noting an investigation is ongoing.
