A suspect fleeing in a reported stolen vehicle led to a police chase that ended near the border of Minnetonka and Wayzata Tuesday morning.
Minnetonka police officers were involved in a "short pursuit" of a suspect that began at 8:58 a.m. Tuesday, the Wayzata Police Department said on Facebook.
Police from several cities responded and set up a perimeter to search for the suspect in the area of Crosby Road and Holdridge Road, near the border of Minnetonka and Wayzata, leading to "a lot of police activity in the neighborhoods," the post said.
The suspect was apprehended at 9:47 a.m. and taken into custody, with a City of Minnetonka spokesperson saying the suspect was arrested without any major incident.
