Suspect at large after shooting outside St. Cloud house party

The hunt for a person suspected in a St. Cloud shooting early Sunday morning remains on the loose. 

St. Cloud Police Department says it received reports of shots fired around 4 a.m. Sunday on the 1400 block of 9th Avenue South. Officers arrived and found that a fight led to a 34-year-old man being shot in the abdomen. 

The suspect fled the scene and the shooting victim was taken to St. Cloud Hospital for treatment. 

Police learned that verbal dispute at house party spilled outside to 14th Street South and turned physical, eventually leading to the shooting. The suspect then left in a vehicle with several others. 

Investigators found the suspect's vehicle in St. Cloud on the 200 block of 10th Avenue North at 4:37 a.m. but as of the police department's release he had not been located.
