Suspect attempts to flee police by escaping through wall to neighbor's home
A suspect was arrested after attempting to flee police by cutting through the wall into a neighboring home in Minneapolis.
On Wednesday, the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office shared photos from a recent warrant arrest in Minneapolis. According to the sheriff’s office, the suspect broke through a wall in the basement and into a neighboring home to evade deputies.
Their escape ultimately didn't work out, as a K-9 office was able to locate the suspect hiding under a pile of clothes in a closet in the other home.
The 27-year-old suspect, who was wanted for felony assault, was arrested. But he is now also facing 1st-degree burglary charges, according to the sheriff's office.
