Suspect identified in Apple Valley murder-suicide

The suspect in the apparent murder-suicide in Apple Valley last week has been identified.

Raymond Rosenbaum, 51, who died of a gunshot wound to the head, has been identified as the suspect in a press release from Apple Valley Police Department. 

His death was confirmed by Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office as a suicide.

Rosenbaum is believed to have fatally shot Faye Brown, 52, who suffered a gunshot wound to her torso., in a condo on the 7600 block of 157th Street West on the evening of Wednesday, Nov. 4.

Another shooting victim who was in the condo at the time, a 56-year-old man, has since been released from the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.

Authorities are still investigating the incident, and believe there is no threat to the community, police said.
