SUV crashes into Leeann Chinn restaurant in St. Paul

Fortunately, there were no injuries.

A Leann Chinn restaurant in St. Paul received an unexpected guest on Saturday when an SUV smashed through the entrance.

The aftermath of the crash was posted on social media by St. Paul Fire Department Saturday afternoon.

The SUV drove through several tables as well as into the counter at the restaurant on the 1300 block of University Avenue.

Fortunately, nobody was injured in the crash, while there was also no structural damage done to the building.

It's not been made clear by authorities how the vehicle came to crash into the building.

The restaurant in question is in the Midway neighborhood of St. Paul, located just a short distance from Allianz Field and several major retailers, including Cub Foods and Target.
