Teen, 17, seriously injured in Bemidji shooting
A teenage boy was airlifted to a hospital after being shot Tuesday evening in Bemidji.
The Bemidji Police Department said officers were called to a multi-family unit in the 2800 block of Ridgeway Avenue Northwest after reports of multiple gunshots around 9:30 p.m.
A search of the building where the shots were reported yielded nothing, but police were told a short time later a teen had been brought to a local hospital by a private party.
He was then flown to a hospital in Fargo for treatment on what are described as serious injuries.
Police were able to speak to the boy, but he wasn't able to describe the suspect. The investigation continues.
Anyone with information should call police at 218-333-9111.
