Teen boy suspected of Aldi kidnap, rape attempt caught trying another sexual assault
A teenage boy suspected of kidnapping a woman outside an Aldi in Brooklyn Park and attempting to rape her has been caught.
Brooklyn Park police said they arrested the juvenile after another attempted sexual assault, this time in a park in the 5900 block of 6th Avenue North.
Around 12:25 p.m. on Friday, a 20-year-old woman reported she'd been attacked by a suspect who tried to sexually assault her.
She managed to fight him off and he fled on foot, chased by the victim and her uncle to a nearby house, where he broke in.
The people inside the house didn't know him and threw him out, with the victim and her uncle then helping police arrest him outside.

Brooklyn Park police said further investigation determined he's thought to be responsible for the Aldi kidnap/rape incident reported on May 12, in which a woman was forced into a car as she returned her shopping cart.
An attempted rape followed, but she was able to escape the car and flee.
The boy is in custody pending charges.
