The 18-year-old was shot in the neck.

The teenager shot outside Myth Nightclub in Maplewood is in a critical condition in a hospital.

The incident was reported at 10:53 p.m. on Friday outside the nightclub on Southlawn Drive, where the 18-year-old from St. Paul was shot in the neck.

Maplewood Police Department says he was taken to Regions Hospital, where he was last listed as being in a critical condition.

The shooting happened as hundreds were inside the club for Friday night's concert by rappers Lil Baby and Blueface, who are currently on tour.

Police are seeking information about the shooting, noting that no-one is currently in custody, they have no suspects, and at this stage it's not known if the 18-year-old was the intended target.

Anyone with information should call police on 651-767-0640.

The nightclub has had at least one shooting incident before; in 2013, two suspects were arrested after a man was shot in the leg outside Myth Live following a verbal altercation.
