2 teens killed in head-on crash on Hwy. 55 in west-central Minnesota
The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating a double-fatal head-on crash involving teenage drivers.
According to the crash report, the collision happened around 9:35 p.m. Thursday on Highway 55 in in west-central Minnesota. More specifically, it happened at Mile Post 51 in Solem Township, Douglas County.
The State Patrol says a Buick Lucerne was eastbound on Hwy. 55 and a Ford F150 was westbound when they collided "in a head-on manner."
A 16-year-old girl from Kensington, Minnesota, driving the Buick died at the scene. Her name has not been released. A 19-year-old from Brooten, Minnesota, was behind the wheel of the Ford. The State Patrol identified him as Joseph John Feldman. He also died at the scene.
