An 18-year-old woman has died after the Chevy in which she was a passenger hit a tractor in rural northern Minnesota on Friday.
The crash was reported at 11:22 a.m. on 190th Street at 335th Avenue South, in White Oak Township, south of Akeley in Hubbard County.
A Chevy Caprice was eastbound on 190th Street when it crested a hill and collided with with a westbound tractor that was pulling a haybine.
The car was sent into a ditch, where it rolled over.
Killed in the crash was 18-year-old Anneka Davis, of Nevis, Minnesota.
She was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. Another passenger, a 19-year-old man from Akeley, was also not wearing a seatbelt and suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The only details released about the driver is that he is a 17-year-old boy, who was wearing a seatbelt and didn't require admission to a medical facility.
The tractor driver, a 55-year-old man, was uninjured.
