A teenage girl was injured when her car was hit by a boulder in Wabasha County.
The incident happened on Hwy. 61, which follows the south shore of the Mississippi River, at around 6:35 p.m. Friday, when 17-year-old Sydney Flack was traveling south in her Ford Focus.
The boulder apparently came off the side of a hill, according to the Minnesota State Patrol, and collided with the Focus.
Wabasha County ambulance and police responders were sent to the scene.
Flack, of Red Wing, was taken to Saint Elizabeth's Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
