Health officials: E.coli traced to traveling petting zoo; 13 cases so far

At least 13 people who visited a traveling petting zoo have been infected with E. coli. State health officials traced the E. coli O157:H7 outbreak to the Zerebko Zoo Tran petting zoo. In a press release Tuesday, the Minnesota Department of Health says that of the confirmed cases, seven people have been hospitalized, including three children. The petting zoo exhibited at several county fairs between July 4 and July 27.
