The lighter side of the storm: Photos and video you gotta see

The massive storm that dumped up to a foot of snow in some areas of Minnesota created some dangerous situations, treacherous roads and prompted Gov. Mark Dayton to declare an emergency and mobilize the National Guard.

It also produced some lighter moments and some memorable images ...

Check out the time-lapse video of the storm hitting a Shakopee home, loaded to YouTube by Kyle Schanus. Keep an eye on that beer box – it'll disappear by the time this 84-second clip is over.
