This week on stage: Joan Rivers to leave Adele alone?

Legendary comedian Joan Rivers returns to Minnesota Thursday for a night of comedy at Mystic Lake Casino in Prior Lake.

Rivers is fresh off of her annual dissection of fashion on the red carpet at the Academy Awards last month, but she's raising eyebrows more for her post-Oscars comments after about hit singer Adele's weight on the "Late Show with David Letterman."

Whether the 79-year-old "Fashion Police" host will keep targeting the Oscar-winning "Skyfall" singer or just leave her be at her Mystic Lake show is yet to be seen.

Adele was apparently was spared in Rivers' Salt Lake City show Saturday night. But according to a review in the Salt Lake Tribune, Rivers was still "offensive, foul-mouthed and obnoxious ... but, most importantly, she was very, very funny."

The review noted that on the downside, the show was very similar to Rivers' 2012 DVD "Don't Start With Me," and some jokes were dated; but on the upside, Rivers was very entertaining nonetheless.

Noting that "she drops more F-bombs than you’ll hear in a Quentin Tarantino movie," the Salt Lake Tribune said Rivers remains "eminently likable and somehow manages to seem as if she is on your side, saying things you might think but dare not say in a politically correct world."

The sharp-tongued comedian's show at Mystic Lake is, not surprisingly, suggested for mature audiences only.

Also appearing on stage this week is hometown favorite Louie Anderson, who is doing a pair of comedy shows at the New Hope Cinema Grill on Friday and Saturday.

In addition to his stand-up gigs, the Minnesota native has been keeping himself busy shooting episodes for the upcoming celebrity diving competition, "Splash," which debuts next week on ABC.

Also this week, world renown psychic Sylvia Browne is appearing at Fortune Bay Casino in Tower, Minn., Thursday through Saturday.

Browne is expected to share insights on her career and give live readings at the shows.
