The three people found dead at a home in Apple Valley on Saturday followed what has been described as an act of "family violence."

Murder-suicide is believed to be behind the deaths of two men and one woman at the home on the 13600 block of Upper Elkwood Court, a quiet residential area of the south metro city.

Police were called to the home shortly after noon on Saturday, and found the deceased inside all suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

The victims have not been named, nor has the identity of who police believe to be the shooter.

Apple Valley PD said they're not looking for any suspects and there's no danger to the wider community.

Per KARE 11, a 60-year-old woman owned the home, and lived there with at least one of her two sons.
