Three men had to be airlifted to a hospital after they suffered burns when flammable liquid was poured onto a bonfire early Sunday.
The incident happened in rural Granite Falls at around 2:20 a.m., with the Yellow Medicine County Sheriff's Office responding to the scene.
"A flammable liquid was poured onto the fire, which caused people near the fire to be burned," the sheriff's office said.
An 18-year-old man was airlifted from the scene, with two 20-year-old men taken to Granite Falls Airport and airlifted from there.
Two more men, aged 18 and 20, were treated for injuries at Granite Falls Hospital.
The incident remains under investigation.
