Three shot – one fatally – in Minneapolis confrontation
A man is dead after a triple shooting in north Minneapolis on Sunday afternoon.
The incident happened on the 5100 block of James Avenue North around 4:15 p.m., with police arriving to find three men with gunshot wounds.
Two of them were in non-life-threatening condition but the third was gravely wounded, and died a short time after arriving at North Memorial Medical Center.
The suspect fled on foot before police arrived, with police learning an altercation happened in the doorway of a house, which ended in gunfire.
The identity of the victim and his cause of death will be released at a later date.
The shooter is not currently in custody.
