Toddler pulled unconscious from Woodland Township pool dies

The 3-year-old tragically passed away on Sunday.

The three-year-old child who was found unconscious in a residential swimming pool has died in hospital.

The Wright County Sheriff's Office confirmed that the toddler passed away at a Twin Cities hospital on Sunday.

They had been airlifted to hospital from the property on the 1300 block of County Road 112 in Woodland Township, about 30 miles west of Minnetonka.

They had been pulled from the pool and CPR was being performed when emergency responders arrived around 3 p.m.

Their identity has not yet been released.
