Toddler's June death in Minneapolis ruled homicide; police investigating

The death of a 2-year-old boy earlier this summer has been ruled a homicide by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office. 

Biyamiin Abdirashid Adosh died of "scalding injuries and apparent bathtub drowning" in June at an apartment on the 1600 block of S. 4th St. in Minneapolis, the medical examiner announced Friday. 

Adosh was taken to the Hennepin Healthcare emergency room where he died just after 4 a.m. June 18. 

No further information has been released and the Minneapolis Police Department is investigating the homicide.
