Tom Hanks rolls through West Fargo

Tammy Hagensen, owner of TNT diner in West Fargo got a call Thursday asking if she'd would be willing to open her cafe doors early for a special guest, whose name couldn't immediately be revealed...Turns out, that the special guest was none other than Forrest Gump himself, Tom Hanks, the Fargo Forum reports.

Tammy Hagensen, owner of TNT diner in West Fargo got a call Thursday asking if she'd would be willing to open her cafe doors early for a special guest, whose name couldn't immediately be revealed.

Turns out, that the special guest was none other than Forrest Gump himself, Tom Hanks, according to the Fargo Forum.

The company that handles Hanks jet travel usually refers customers to TNT diner if a stopover in West Fargo is required. The paper said that Hanks and his family signed autographs and snapped cell phone pictures for customers after eating their biscuits and gravy.

On the Minnesota side of things, Hanks made news recently when the company making his upcoming film Captain Phillips came to Minneapolis looking for people to be in the film about Somali Pirates.
